The Super Nova concept car of 1964 drove the restyling of the Chevy II line for the 1966 model year. The public loved the angular lines with the semi-fastback roofline and sales took off increasing more than 11 percent over the previous model year. The crisp lines of the redesign continued into 1967 with more aggressive grill and trim upgrades including red SS badges for the Super Sport models.
The 1967 Nova Super Sports came as two-door hardtops with upgraded interior including restyled bucket seats, door-to-door carpeting, and all vinyl interiors. Most significantly the Nova SS line offered optional 327 CI V-8 engines. This 1967 Nova Super Sport is powered by a 327-cid, 275-hp motor and is one of just 15,505 Nova SS models with the optional 275-hp V-8.
Painted an aggressive yet classic Tuxedo Black over a black vinyl bucket seat interior with white accents, the looks of this immaculate GM of Canada 1967 Nova SS are truly eye-catching. From the spotless details of the engine bay to the stunning chrome work, this car looks good from any angle. The sporty yet elegant two-tone bucket seats highlight the interior that also features new carpets and headliner. The optional console, AM radio, wood steering wheel, bumper guards, stainless wheel arches, and Rally wheels with trim rings add to the appeal of this car. The red line radials complete the look drawing attention to the distinctive red SS badging. No one will miss the new owner’s arrival at the next Chevy club event or local cruise-in.
