First available in 1967, the Chevy Camaro directly competed against the ever-popular Mustang and was a success with more than 220,000 hitting the streets that first year. Plenty of available options and color choices helped keep Chevrolet’s “pony car” alive all the way into 1993’s fourth generation configuration. This new design incorporated lightweight plastic body panels over a steel space frame, and a much improved suspension design. Mostly minor changes occurred for 1994. The 4L60 automatic transmission was replaced with the 4L60E, which included electronic controls. After years of declining sales and unrelenting sales pressure from Mustang, Camaro temporarily ceased production in 2002, with the last example was produced on August 27.

Less than one-third of the 1994 Camaros produced were Z28 coupes. Many were purchased and used as daily drivers, making quality examples difficult to find. Offered in high quality condition, this T-top Z28 coupe offers the 275 horsepower 5.7 liter 350 with the automatic transmission. Other features include AM/FM cassette sound system, rear spoiler, alloy wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, air conditioning and dual exhaust. It has been well cared for and is an excellent version of the soon-to-be collectible fourth generation Camaro.
