The 1977 Lincoln was similar to its predecessor, but weighed 300-lbs less. It was downsized in weight, but not in styling or size. The Mark V featured concealed headlamps, simulated- tire decklid hump and oval portholes on the sail panels. Described as having “sculptured styling,” the overall look was more angular than previous Lincolns. This car was the largest member of the Lincoln Mark series produced.
This “custom crafted,” 1977 Lincoln Mark V coupe is believed to have 55,000 original miles though the title shows exempt, and one repaint that is finished in Black Diamond, with a luxury defined Dove Grey interior. Under the hood is a 460-cid V-8 married to a SelectShift automatic transmission. It is equipped with a moonroof, power steering, four-wheel disc brakes, windows and functional fender louvers that help dissipate the engine heat.
