Jaguar’s XK 120 was an instant hit at its 1948 Earl’s Court introduction. Modern and powerful, it developed an immediate following, both as a road car and on the race course. As time went on, however, its competition was catching up, so some updates were initiated. A handsome Fixed-Head coupe was added to the line in 1951, and a Drophead coupe, actually a convertible with roll-up side windows, was introduced in 1953.

Under the bonnet of this 1960 Jaguar is a neatly presented DOHC 3.8-liter six-cylinder engine coupled to a manual gear box. It is finished in a cream with a matching four- passenger, red heritage leather interior that shows to be in tip-top shape. This car is said to be a rust free West Coast car that has been correctly maintained by only two owners since it was bought new in 1960 and shows a mere 43,000 miles though the title shows exempt.

The Heritage certificate for this car shows the number on components like the engine and gear box are original. The original exhaust has been replaced with a new XKSS stainless steel exhaust system to make the car safer and more practical for the road. The owner stated that this car needs nothing but a new enthusiastic owner.
