Built in Northern Ireland under an agreement with the British government, one that partially bankrolled the DeLorean Motor Company; the DMC-12 was styled by Giorgetto Giugiaro, of Italdesign. It featured distinctive gullwing doors and outer body panels of brushed stainless steel, over a rear-engine, Renault-powered chassis and suspension that was largely based upon the Lotus Esprit. Colin Chapman was brought in to resolve any engineering issues.

The DMC presented here boasts a five-speed manual transmission and a 173.9-cid V-6 engine. Believed to be an original car, its stainless steel body remains in good condition, as does the gray interior. The car has four-wheel disc brakes, factory alloy wheels, radio and air conditioning. The odometer shows 11,420 miles though it should be noted that the title shows exempt, and has recently benefited from a service, new clutch, pressure plate, rear seal, brakes, gaskets, gas tank lines, fuel pump, condenser, a radiator and re-furbished wheels.
