When the 1969 Camaro was released, John DeLorean was General Manager of the Chevrolet Division. Also in 1969, Chevrolet would release one of their most iconic and sought after musclecars, the latest version of the Trans Am series winning Camaro Z28.

This 1969 Camaro RS/Z28 is finished in Hugger Orange with white racing stripes. As a part of the RS package, it has a special black painted grille with concealed headlights. Powering the car is a reported date code correct 290-hp, 302-cid V-8 backed with dual exhaust, and matched up with a four-speed manual transmission. The car has power brakes, radio delete, Rally wheels and a tailored interior with white houndstooth upholstery which was popularized in the Indy 500 Pace Car Camaros of the same year.
