Introduced in 1995, the 993 generation of Porsche’s 911 Turbo proved to be the bookend to the company’s air-cooled, forced-induction offerings. The 1997 black over black leather example offered here was acquired new by the consignor, and presently shows 7,855 miles at the time of cataloging.

The car’s production placard indicates that it was desirably specified from the factory with stainless steel sills, aluminum-face instruments, aluminum shift knob, aluminum brake lever, cruise control, power sunroof, and dash-mounted Porsche 210 CD player with leather-trimmed storage.

The car’s non-standard “X” options required it to be completed at the Special Wishes assembly line, “Werk 1,” located just a few steps from Porsche’s standard 911 production line. Completed in December 1996, the car was titled by the consignor in January of 1997 and has since been carefully maintained within their collection.

Within the past 100 miles, the consignor enlisted Napleton Porsche of Wyoming Valley, Pennsylvania to complete over $10,600 USD of mechanical and cosmetic servicing in preparation for sale. Notable items provided to the car include a complete “Porsche Schedule Three” major maintenance regimen, engine belts, battery, xenon bulbs, and a set of fresh Continental Extremesport tires. The car was also provided with servicing to the transmission and differential, while the exterior bodywork was ceramic coated following a minor paint correction to the front bumper.

This 993 911 Turbo with single ownership and low mileage is now accompanied by its original accoutrements, including jack, spare, air compressor, tool roll, manuals, and service invoices.
