  • Most powerful Roush Mustang at the time
  • Less than 4,500 miles from new

427 bhp, 4,606 cc Roush supercharged 90-degree V-8 engine, five-speed manual transmission, front independent suspension with coil springs, adjustable shocks, and anti-roll bars, four-link rear suspension with a live rear axle, and four-wheel ventilated disc brakes. Wheelbase: 107.1 in.

For the 2007 model year, the 427R replaced the Stage 3 Mustang as Roush’s flagship Ford Mustang-based model. As this model’s horsepower was upped from 415 in the Stage 3 to 427, it became the most powerful production Roush Mustang at the time of its introduction. Of course, Roush also took time to upgrade the car’s suspension and add new front struts, rear shocks, front and rear springs, and sway bars.

This particular Roush 427R Mustang passed through only one Arlington, Texas, owner before being acquired by Mr. Pack in 2010, and it has covered less than 4,500 miles from new. It is finished in grey with a silver stripe and is quite obviously not just any Mustang. Numerous body modifications on the car include new front and rear bumpers, flared wheel arches, and a hood scoop that reads “Roushcharged,” which is a not-so-subtle hint at its supercharged engine. The interior also received several changes, including matching grey and silver seats with Jack Roush’s signature and a short throw shifter.

With performance upgrades to match its more aggressive look, the Roush 427R would be an ideal acquisition for someone looking for a Mustang with a little extra zest all around.
