  • Just under 600 miles from new
  • Unique color combination of Blu Tour de France with Nero and Grigio Ingrid racing stripe alongside a matching Blue Medio and Nero interior
  • Canadian delivery example, recently imported to the United States

Sitting atop the totem pole of the 458-model range, the Special A (for Aperta) combines the ferocity of the car’s award-winning powertrain with the thrill of open-air motoring. Following in the footsteps of the 16M Scuderia Spider, the 458 Speciale A brought all the thrills of the closed 458 Speciale with the welcome addition of open-air motoring, courtesy of a new retractable hardtop roof.

Of all the 458 Speciale As built by Ferrari, said to be just 499 examples, it is believed that fewer than 20 cars were finished from new in Blu Tour de France by the factory, with this example boasting a unique color combination. In addition to its Blu Tour de France paintwork, the car also boasts a dual-tone racing stripe in Grigio Ingrid and Nero. Further exterior options include titanium exhaust tips, brake calipers finished in Giallo Modena, the Adaptive Frontlight System, front suspension lift, and rear parking camera with front and rear parking sensors. This theme carries through to the interior where the car is trimmed in a mix of Blu Medio Alcantara and Nero leather, alongside swathes of carbon fiber trim.

Built for the Canadian market in April 2015 and delivered new to a client in Edmonton via Ferrari of Alberta, the Speciale A was fittingly registered under Alberta vanity plates reading ‘BLUTIFUL.’ It is believed that the first owner of the car retained ownership until 2023, accumulating just 850 km (528 miles) in his ownership. The car moved east to Toronto when purchased by its second owner, allegedly driven less than 100 km during his ownership. Imported to the United States earlier this year, the car is currently showing less than 600 miles on its odometer.

With today’s market becoming increasingly focused on ‘end of an era’ modern supercars in unique color schemes, this particular Speciale A checks all the right boxes and would make a fabulous addition to any collection.
