Sold new via Ferrari of Dallas in September of 1998 as a 1999 model, this F355 Spider was built for the final year of F355 production. Finished in the subtle and highly attractive color combination of Argento Nürburgring over a Blu Scuro interior, this is a seldom seen yet striking color combination on the F355. Its original window sticker shows an MSRP of $141,220 which including brake calipers in aluminum, drilled brake discs, colored upper dashboard and steering wheel (in Blu leather to match the rest of the interior), and the desirable challenge grille. Perhaps most importantly, it was fitted with the highly desirable six-speed manual transmission.
Remaining in Dallas for the first four years of its life, the car was serviced by Ferrari of Dallas in June of 1999 at 5,758 miles and again in March of 2003 at 11,370 miles for its first major service including cambelts. Records show that the car moved to a new owner in Mobile, Alabama in 2004. The next available records for the car are a service invoice from Ferrari of Ontario in 2022, which included a pre-purchase inspection and replacement of the clutch at 13,586 miles. The car’s most recent major service was carried out by DriverSource of Houston which included replacement of the timing belts, fitting a new battery, new tires, and replacing the engine cover struts at 13,598 miles in the summer of 2023.
Acquired by the current owner in September of 2023, the F355 was shipped to Pennsylvania, where it resides today and it presently shows just under 14,150 miles from new. The car’s last annual service was carried out by Ferrari of Philadelphia in December 2025, alongside an inspection for Classiche certification. During this inspection, it was noted that the right front wheel had broken lug bolt inserts, and as such a replacement wheel was sourced and fitted to the car. As of February 2026, the F355 was granted Ferrari Classiche certification, confirming that the car retains its original chassis, engine, and a replacement gearbox of the correct type. It is important to note that the physical Ferrari Classiche binder is currently in transit and will be forwarded to the winning bidder, however a digital copy of the binder remains available for inspection in the car’s history file.
Regarded as a truly exceptional car to drive and enjoy, a well-sorted, manual-gearbox F355 is on the bucket list for many a tifosi. This F355 Spider’s low mileage, stunning color combination, and recent service and Classiche certification would make it a stand-out addition to any collection.
