Holding a 5 April 1995 date of production, the second-generation E36 M3 Cabriolet offered here is powered by the 3.0-litre S50B30 straight-six. The engine delivers its 286 PS to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transmission.
Specified in striking Dakar Yellow over an interior trimmed in Black Nappa leather and featuring such amenities as electrically adjustable heated seats and the model’s innovative pop-up rollover bars, this example was sold new via Autohaus Ginter of Hallstadt in Germany. The service book indicates that the car accrued more than 11,000 kilometres in its first 16 months while in the care of its long-term original keeper.
This two-owner car then joined the ranks of The Best of M Collection in August 2015 and, driven very sparingly thereafter, the car showed 31,147 kilometres at the time of cataloguing. It benefits from a service performed in May 2025 by Autoleth A/S of Haderslev in Denmark and is accompanied by its matching-colour Dakar Yellow hardtop roof with stand, tool kit, full-size spare wheel, owners’ guides, plus BMW Classic Birth Certificate.
