Delivered new to Edmondo Lamborghini —brother of the marque’s founder, Ferruccio Lamborghini—this early example of the seminal Lamborghini 350 GT offers a captivating connection to the formative years of the legendary Italian manufacturer. Following its final factory test on 15 October 1964, the car was delivered the next day to Edmondo finished in Rosso Matador over Nero upholstery. As the ninth production example built by Lamborghini, chassis number 0110 emerged during a formative period before certain components were fully standardised, offering a compelling glimpse into the developmental phase of the marque’s earliest road cars.

More recently, chassis 0110 benefited from a comprehensive restoration carried out by a consortium of respected Italian specialists, culminating in a refinish in Azzurro Acrilico Metallizzato. The striking metallic turquoise blue was selected by the current owner to echo the original livery of the first 350 GT, chassis 0101—whose sinuous, forward-looking lines were initially presented in this hue before being repainted by the factory in Verde Ginevra for the 1964 Geneva Motor Show.

A statement on file from renowned Lamborghini test driver Valentino Balboni verifies his involvement with the restoration. In July 2021, the car was certified by Lamborghini Polo Storico as retaining its matching-numbers chassis, engine, and Touring Superleggera aluminium coachwork. Presented at the 2023 Classic Club Italia concours in Stresa, Italy—held in honour of Lamborghini’s 60th anniversary—the car was awarded both Best in Show and 1st place in the Lamborghini Cup, “Orgoglio Italiano”. It is accompanied by an estratto cronologico, Polo Storico Certificate of Authenticity and Vehicle History overview, plus build sheet copies.
