Specifications: 904 cc SOHC Desmo V-twin, six speeds.
The DOHC four-valve Desmo single Ducati Supermono was such an icon when it was launched in 1993 that it was a magnet for Ducati fans. Built for the Sound of Singles series in Europe, only 67 were constructed from 1993-97, and Robert Holden placed 2nd in the Isle of Man TT on one. The “look” was so striking that Dutch company Troll offered a Supertwin Troll kit for your 900 SS—you provided the engine, and Troll came up with a rolling chassis, stylish body work and frame. However, it was very expensive, and only 13 were built. The bike on offer is No. 1 and the only one constructed with Ohlins suspension. In bright yellow, it is as new and an unrepeatable opportunity for the serious collector.
