Specifications: 436 cc SOHC single, five speeds.
When the wide-case engine was introduced in 1968, it was available in 250/350-cc displacements as Scramblers and Mark 3 Sports. The 450-cc model was introduced in 1969 as both Scrambler and Mark 3. The 450-cc frame also had an extra gusset along the top tube like Spaggiari’s racer, which featured a wider chain and sprocket and slightly longer Marzocchi forks. All 450s had a new type of Dell’Orto square-slide VHB 29 carburettor, and the bullet silencer was replaced by the cut-off Silentium type, which could be long or short. The 450 Mark 3 on offer is an original bike finished in Rosso Rubino paint, which shows its age but has a delightful patina.
