This Yale is a direct descendant of the 1903 California that completed the first transcontinental motorcycle ride. This late 1910 model has a horizontal top frame tube that distinguishes it from earlier 1910 models. In addition to the outside flywheel, the unusual powerplant's final drive is via chain over a rear wheel pulley. The exemplary restoration is by well known restorer Mike Parti.
