150 bhp, 346 cu. in. OHV V-8 engine, four-speed Hydra-Matic automatic transmission, independent coil-spring front suspension, rear semi-elliptic leaf-spring suspension, and four-wheel hydraulic power-assisted drum brakes. Wheelbase: 129 in.
The car offered here is documented by a copy of its original Cadillac build sheet, which is on file, as having been charged to the account of the Cadillac Automobile Company, of Boston, and it was originally sold by their agent in nearby Roxbury, Massachusetts. The build sheet confirms that it was originally finished in the unusual, rare, and attractive color of Camden Green, the same hue that it still wears today, as well as Royal tires, a Hydramatic transmission, a radio with a power aerial, an under-seat heater, a glare-proof mirror, fog lights, wheel trim rings, a windshield washer, and back-up lights.
The Cadillac made its way from Roxbury to Pennsylvania, where it was acquired by the late, respected collector Jim Miller, of Baden, Ontario. Mr. Miller eventually sold the car to Larry Epworth, of Clifford, Ontario, who was a well-known enthusiast and long-time member of the Classic Car Club of America. Mr. Epworth enjoyed this car for some years, during which it participated in a CCCA CARavan in Newfoundland.
It was acquired from Mr. Epworth by the present owner. Everything is reported to work and function as original, including the radio, and the car fairly begs for continued enjoyment on the next CARavan. It is an excellent example of one of the finest drivers of its era.
