Near the end of the Grand National’s production run, Buick authorized a limited edition of 547 specials, designated GNX. This remarkably original and highly maintained example has enjoyed strict maintenance and climate-controlled storage under the current owner and has amassed less than 29,000 miles since new. The sinister black exterior finish remains very good, and the car is stock in specification with the exception of a high-performance computer chip and an aftermarket intercooler. However, all original parts are included with the car, should the new owner wish to return the GNX to factory-stock specification. The current owner acquired the car from the original owner, and this GNX comes complete with two miniature GNX replicas from the GNX Registry, and a book. It is a fun to drive car, and was reportedly limited in production due to the fact that it was more powerful than the Corvette the GM was producing that year.
