Of the total 1,574 ram inducted cars with a 383-cid engine were produced; just 562 were Phoenix Two-Door Hardtops. This one was built at the Newark, DE assembly plant 3/21/60 and delivered directly from Dodge to Main Street Garage in Clifton Forge, VA where it was sold to Warren Preston Hall 6/4/60. Clifton Forge is a small town on Route 11 North of Roanake, VA and has never had a new car dealership.

Albert Crutchfield, a noted NC collector of Chrysler Forward Look cars heard of the car from a VA resident and Chrysler enthusiast Ed Wilson. Crutchfield purchased the car about 25 years ago from a neighbor that had acquired it just hours before from the original owner's window. Adding to its rarity is the unique optional "Cantilever Sweep" paint scheme, highlighting the roof line in "Cloud". Other options are tinted glass, swivel bucket seats, dual transistor radio with twin rear antennas and stainless fender skirts. This car was just driven 800 mles to the NHRA Hot Rod Reunion in Bowling Green, KY.
