Finished in what appears to be Code R Ivy Green, this Mustang GT coupe stands well with a very nice older restoration. It appears that it was originally delivered with the A-code engine; the early A-code Mustangs included a high output engine that put out 225 horsepower at 4,800 rpm, with 305 at 3,200 torque. This example also features the styled steel wheels, radial tires, newer exhaust and fuel tank, power steering, an automatic transmission, rally-pack gauges with a 6,000 rpm tachometer, a pushbutton radio, emergency flashers, and black pony interior. The GT package appears to be completely correct on this car, with front fog lamps, GT interior door handles, a GT gas cap, disc brakes, and rear valance exhaust openings. Clearly a high-end driver car, it has been restored throughout with good attention to detail, especially to the sheet metal, which appears to be original with a very good fit and finish, resulting in an enjoyable, well-optioned GT.
