The Matador Red 1957 Bel Air may very well be one of the most iconic of all vintage American cars. Equipped with the V-8 and a four-barrel carburetor, the engine compartment is very nicely restored. Each and every component appears to be correct to this model, and it is restored properly down to the generator and power steering unit. This car was likely body-off restored a short time ago, as evidenced by the proper red primer floor pans. The exterior paint and body are very well executed with good fit to the doors and panel alignment. The grey vinyl with black cloth insert upholstery is excellent and looks right at home in the car. Other features include an aftermarket cassette player, although the original radio is included, and spinner wheel covers. The overall high quality of this restoration is more typically found on a convertible, making this a great find.
