This 1972 Dodge Dart is believed to be highly original; and is accompanied by the original window sticker and sales documentation, which confirms original options and the period color of Light Gold that it is finished in. This car was originally sold new on October 14, 1972 by Don Schmid Motors in Wichita, Kansas. Its first owner was John W. Meredith of Wichita, Kansas.

The Dodge Dart eventually found its way to California where it has been under the care of a private owner who has preserved and mildly upgraded the car. Today the car has five-spoke modern chrome wheels and a matte black Demon-style hood.

Under the hood is a 318 cubic inch V-8 engine that is paired to an automatic transmission. This Dart, from the factory, was fitted with air conditioning, power steering, AM radio, vinyl roof, light package, left remote control mirror and body side moldings. The base price on the Swinger model was $2,648 and with all the options equipped the sticker price was $3,474.
