Motorcycle News proclaimed that the 2008 Benelli TRE K 1130 Amazonas is "Arguably the most 'complete' motorcycle from Benelli in modern times."
This 2008 Benelli TRE K 1130 Amazonas is presented in yellow with black trim including a black seat with yellow stitching. The motorcycle is powered by a four-stroke, inline-triple engine with a double overhead cam, four valves per cylinder and 11.9:1 compression; paired to a six-speed transmission. The rear wheel is powered by a chain final drive. The engine is liquid-cooled and features fuel injection. Braking is accomplished by front and rear disc brakes. The motorcycle features dual sideview mirrors and a windshield for more comfortable cruising. The gauge cluster includes a digital readout along with an analog tachometer and water temp gauge. The Benelli Amazonas were purpose-built motorcycles for the Paris Dakar Rally. This unique sport tourer is a rarity in the States, as they were never originally offered for sale. Vinnie is said to have acquired this bike through a businessman from Houston.
