Nineteen eighty-four saw the welcome introduction of the Corvette C4, the first all new Corvette in 15 years. It was the first Corvette to use a unibody instead of body on frame construction and its sleek, modern design distinctly set it apart from its predecessor.
This 1984 Corvette was ordered with Chevrolet’s innovative Doug Nash 4+3 transmission. Effectively a seven-speed manual transmission, the 4+3 was a four-speed manual with automatic overdrive used on the top three gears. A ZF six-speed manual replaced the 4+3 in 1989. With only two Southern California collector owners from new, this Corvette is in exceptional original condition and has covered only 7,887 miles which the owner believes to be original. The unusual silver leather interior is virtually wear-free and the car still looks factory fresh. This is the perfect Corvette for an enthusiast who is looking for a low mileage C4 that can be driven and enjoyed.
