Introduced in January 1988, the Reatta was not available as a convertible until the 1990 model year. It was Buick’s first open car since the 1985 Riviera. The Reatta was designed to combine the appearance and performance of a sports car with the luxury and refinement traditionally associated with Buick. It is powered by Buick’s 3.8-liter V-6 and came with numerous comfort and convenience features such as air conditioning, a stereo with cassette player, and electric climate control as standard equipment. Power seats and a CD player were the only options available.
