The Wildcat name, within Buick, first saw life as a subseries of their Invicta line. The Wildcat Invicta featured a larger engine, bucket seats, center console with tachometer, and a floor shifter. Trim was also modified for the Wildcat subseries. It wasn’t until 1963 that Buick made the Wildcat a stand-alone line instead of a subseries.

The Buick Wildcat GS offered here is a second generation Wildcat that spanned from 1965-1970. This convertible is equipped with a 430-cid, 360-hp V-8 engine paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. The engine option of a 430 V-8 was only offered for the 1969 model year due to the change to 445’s in 1970. This Buick features many options including an 8-track player; power windows, brakes, steering and top. This Wildcat also features factory air conditioning, an option seldom seen on convertibles of the sixties. The red exterior paired with white interior give this Buick the classic look so often desired by many. With its spacious interior, there is more than enough room to include the entire family.
