350-cid OHV V-8 engine, three-speed Hydra-Matic transmission, tubular front axle with leading-arm coil spring suspension, trailing arm coil-over-shock rear suspension and two-wheel hydraulic disc brakes. Wheelbase: 151-inches

The most frightened people in Stage Fright might be the front seat passengers. This incredible rod was built by Jack Keefe over a seven-year period in the 1970s. In the early 1990s, he sold it to Jay Orhberg, who sent it on tour around the world. Stage Fright was subsequently purchased by Steve Estrin, who restored it to the current condition.

A replica of an 1849 Concord stagecoach, it was originally powered by a mid-ship 289-cid Ford V-8 with C-4 transmission. It currently runs a small-block Chevy engine with Hydra-Matic. The driver and “shotgun” passenger ride on a pleated brown leather bench seat; the steering wheel has Model T-style spokes and a bent-wood rim. A monocle windshield serves the driver only. Replicated in miniature by Mattel as a Hot Wheels edition, Stage Fright has a worldwide fan base.
