Among the many promotional cars built by King of the Kustoms George Barris is this vehicle for the Campbell Soup Company. Using an automotive theme to promote Campbell’s popular V-8 vegetable juice brand, it is built in the shape of a V-8 can, sitting on an angle-iron chassis.

A two-passenger cockpit is upholstered in white vinyl, with black shag carpet on the floor. Sealed beam headlights are hidden in imitation gas lamps, and external exhaust headers and pipes are installed on each side. A tank at the rear dispenses V-8 juice with a tap in the center of the spare tire. Useful for all sorts of promotions, this vehicle could simply be used for fun.
