Completed in April 1972, the Porsche 911 T Coupe offered here was delivered new from the factory finished in the highly desirable paint color Gulf Blue over a Black Leatherette interior, as shown on its Porsche Production Specification document. Additionally furnished with a suite of desirable options, the car is equipped with the comfort equipment package, which consisted of 911 S instrumentation, gold rear emblems, aluminum doorsill plates, S rubber moldings on the bumpers and beneath the doors, and chrome rocker panels. Furthermore, the interior features sport seats to secure passengers on spirited drives and a Blaupunkt Frankfurt radio to tune into the airwaves. "Light Metal Wheels" and stabilizers on both ends of the car completed the specification of this wonderful Porsche. Further identifying this car as a 1972 model, the right-hand side features the one-year-only external oil filler flap. The similar design to the fuel filler on the front fender had led to some confusion at filling stations and ultimately resulted in the removal of this feature in subsequent model years.

As shown in the car’s maintenance booklet, this 911 T was originally delivered new to Minnesota. An accompanying binder contains files from previous decades, including ownership documentation and invoices. In addition, photos and invoices provide a record of restoration work, which began in 2022. Over the course of the project, the car received fresh paint, corrosion repair, and servicing of all major mechanical systems. Today, the freshly rebuilt Porsche appears in spectacular condition with its factory-delivered color and now features stylish houndstooth inserts on the seats. The car will be accompanied by a tool roll, owner’s books, and the previously mentioned document binder.
