The 1959 Buicks were radical departures from their predecessors, with the entire lineup trading the chrome-heavy ornamentation of the Fabulous Fifties for long, low, and wide modern sleekness. These bold new cars demanded new model names as well, and so Buick introduced the LeSabre, Invicta, and Electra badges for the 1959 model year.

Drawing its name from the 1951 General Motors dream car, the 1959 LeSabre represented Buick’s entry-level model. A purposeful TCI Outlaw shifter operates the car’s automatic transmission, and Classic Instruments gauges sit in front of the driver. For entertainment, the car is equipped with a Kenwood media unit, while air conditioning keeps things cool. Even the trunk has been trimmed to match the cabin, indicating the consideration that went into every aspect of this build.
