At the 40th anniversary celebrations of Garage Francorchamps in Brussels, Belgium in 1992, Ferrari introduced its newest four-seater grand touring car. Boasting elegant Pininfarina styling, the 456 GT would propel Ferrari into the 21st century whilst harkening back to their stunning GT cars of the 1950s and 1960s.

As a four-seater Ferrari grand-tourer, the 456 GT’s performance was exceptional. Its new 442-horsepower V-12 ensured it could reach speeds of over 186 mph and accelerate from 0–60 mph in just 5.2 seconds. The powertrain included the revered six-speed gated manual transaxle for ideal weight balance, while its suspension featured telescoping gas-filled shocks and a self-leveling rear axle for ultimate road holding at speed. The 456 GT has lately been sought out by collectors for its superb grand touring capabilities, elegant styling, wonderful performance, and compliant suspension.

This 456 GT was completed at Maranello in December 1994 and delivered new to Miller Motorcars in Greenwich, Connecticut. One of just 1,435 Pininfarina-bodied examples produced between 1992 and 1996, it is clad in standard black paint over a neatly trimmed leather interior featuring beige and black upholstery.

After several years in the Northeast this 456 GT moved to Florida in 2005, then indicating approximately 7,900 miles. Invoices on file show regular maintenance intervals and routine servicing completed by Ferrari specialists at Manfred Automotive in Naples, Florida. During previous ownership, a Tubi exhaust system and Scuderia fender shields were fitted to the car, and in August 2006 the front bumper was repainted. By September 2011, this 456 GT had moved to Louisiana, where it was exclusively maintained by Lindsey Automotive in Kenner.

The most recent notable invoice executed by Lindsey in November 2019 included refurbishment of the headlight motors, intake manifold, radio, throttle cable, and a comprehensive belt service.

Under the consignor’s care, the car was entrusted to British Motor Cars of Scottsdale, Arizona for an extensive mechanical recommissioning costing approximately $33,000 and exclusively using OEM parts. Noted expenditures include a new fuse box, thermostat, oil cooler lines, crankshaft position sensors, fuel sender unit, fuel gauge, fuel pumps, A/C compressor, and gaskets for the valve covers and camshaft assemblies. Additionally, the car’s underpinnings were freshened with new set of bushings, rear struts, and front brakes.

Now showing fewer than 24,500 miles at time of cataloguing, this wonderfully presented 456 GT is accompanied by nearly 20 years of service invoices, its original window sticker, manuals, factory exhaust, original wheels shod in new Nitto tires, and tool kit with Schedoni case.
