Tony Upson began his career in a London, England advertising agency working on storyboards and painting pub signs. Through this he discovered a passion for lettering paired with imagery and began to create automotive art. This painting depicts Ferrari chassis number 0480, which was driven by Alberto Ascari to victory at the 1953 British Grand Prix. Ascari was Ferrari’s first Formula 1 World Champion and is the last Italian to win to date. This stunning painting would make an ideal addition to any collector’s display room.
