The Wagoneer was the first of a series of full size Jeeps introduced by Willys. From 1963 through 1983, the Wagoneer name plate was used on the full-size wagons, which went from Willys to Kaiser to AMC ownership. When the smaller XJ Wagoneer design was introduced, the full size Wagoneer name was changed to Grand Wagoneer. Every property needs a handy 4x4, and this Jeep has served the owner's collection for years.
Called the “ultimate four-wheel drive experience” in period literature, the Jeep Wagoneer was widely regarded as America’s four-door, four-wheel drive luxury vehicle. This was because many of the conveniences that you found standard on the Wagoneer were extra-cost items on its competitors in the four-wheel drive market. The Wagoneer gave you “extra toughness to get you where you’re headed …in style.”
The Jeep being offered runs with the 360-cid V-8 engine and has an automatic transmission. The Wagoneer is said to be “well-preserved and maintained” and the “interior is like new.” The interior has tasteful patterned upholstery on the seats, plus it is fitted with factory slotted alloy wheels, woodgrain side trim, dual mirrors, cargo carrier, AM radio, air conditioning; power steering and brakes.
