This Camaro is powered by a 1969 427-cid V-8 engine that has been over-bored, de-burred and decked by C&P Machine of Fort Wayne, Indiana and force-fed a set of Manley 12.5:1 pistons that propel Chevy "dimpled" rods and a cross-drilled crank. The Chevy has ported and polished open-chamber heads that use Manley stainless 2.300-inch intake and 1.880-inch exhaust valves. Controlling it all is a Cam Dynamics L88 cam with 0.520-inch of lift and 242-degrees of duration. The pro street Camaro also has a Weiand tunnel ram intake and two Holley 465-cfm carburetors. It is also equipped with a Muncie M22 "rock-crusher" four-speed manual transmission that is controlled by a Hurst Super Shifter 3. Behind this powerful unit is a General Motors 12-bolt rear end suitably narrowed and packed full of 4.88:1 gears and a Moroso Brute Strength posi-traction setup. Tom Skoufe did the transmission modifications, and he is also credited with the head work.

The stock front sub-frame was welded together by Chuck Weick, while the front suspension was modified by cutting two coils off each spring, installing Koni shocks, and incorporating a 1973 Monte Carlo steering box. The rear has stock leaf springs, while the body was stretched a total of four inches; two in the front quarters and two in the rear quarters. Finished in red with a tan and red interior, this restomod also has power steering and power brakes.
