Borrowing the Zulu name for the medium-sized southern African antelope, the Impala was introduced in 1958 as a new up-level, sporty trim package created for Bel Air coupes and convertibles. Unique to the model were its six taillights with the center lights on either side housing a backup lamp; this classic styling cue that became its trademark for many years. Exhibited in near pristine condition, this Impala Custom is known to be a single-owner car with the original paint. Only 27,902 miles have been driven since new. It is powered by a 350-cid V-8 with a four-barrel and an automatic transmission. Options include power steering, power brakes, power windows Comfortron Climate control, and AM/FM Stereo sound.
