It was fully restored by East Coast Rovers in 2002, where it was completely disassembled, and new and original parts were used. All body panels were painted prior to reassembling. The Land Rover features a new galvanized frame, new transmission, a completely rebuilt engine, full soft-top with hoop set, OEM heater and heavy-duty battery. The rollbar and three-point seatbelts have been added for safety and are easily removed for an accurate historic representation. This Land Rover was previously commissioned in Germany with the British Royal Air-force.
