The GDT Speedster is a world famous one of a kind sports car designed and built by a team of automotive professionals. Numerous magazine and newspaper articles have been published on the vehicle. It was awarded the Car and Driver Editor’s Choice award at the Rolling Sculpture Car Show in Ann Arbor, Michigan on July 14, 2006 by Car and Driver magazine. Thousands of Internet sites around the world have posted articles on the GDT Speedster.

It has been hand crafted and is intended for sale to a discriminating collector who appreciates beautiful automotive styling, excellent engineering and fine craftsmanship. The GDT Speedster was designed and built by a team of experienced automotive engineers, stylists and a body-surfacing expert who love cars and who wanted to do a complete vehicle from scratch without the bureaucratic encumbrances of a large corporation. The project was initiated as an exercise in engineering and styling with “no holds barred”. The vehicle is fully engineered. It was designed and fabricated using both state of the art CAD tools and conventional methods. The GDT Speedster contains more than 2,000 components that were designed and crafted just for the vehicle. More than 13,000 cumulative man-hours were devoted to design, development and fabrication. The vehicle was completed in November, 2005.

The GDT Speedster features a rigid steel frame and steel underbody fully welded in place. The body panels are molded from a hybrid of e glass and Kevlar cloth with vinyl ester resin. The drive train, suspension, steering and brakes are from a 1994 Corvette. The vehicle is titled as a 1994 Corvette
