According to a Bill of Sale on file, this 308 GTB was formerly owned by Frank Amoto of Howard Beach, New York. Further information on file includes the claim that over $60,000 was invested in building it as a race car, including the installation of dual fuel cells, a full roll cage, JFZ regulated brake system, built-in triggered fire extinguisher, window screen nets, a retractable Momo steering wheel, and OMP racing seats with a fire-point harness. The drivetrain has been fitted with a Sunkin pump and large aluminum radiator with electric fans, and is cooled by additional air drawn through a large rooftop GT scoop. Finishing off the package are 16-in. Gotti wheels. The car has been part of the current owner’s collection since 2012 and has been largely stored amongst his other antique automobiles, and will require a thorough mechanical service before taking to the track.
