AutoKraft was a manufacturer of AC Cobra continuation cars in the 1980s and '90s. It’s reported the company only produced 480 cars. AutoKraft’s continuation models were so accurate with their manufacturing abilities they are included in the SAAC registry. This car, AK1059, was completed in 1985 and according to the SAAC registry was delivered to Muck Motors in Buffalo, New York. It was purchased by “Stormin” Norman Gray and later sold to singer Billy Joel.

This 1985 AutoKraft Shelby Cobra is presented in black with Halibrand SC Cobra-styled wheels. Other exterior features on the vehicle include dual sideview mirrors, fender rock guards, as well as front and rear chrome bumpers. The car features four-wheel power hydraulic disc brakes and independent suspension. It’s powered by a Ford 302-cid, 400-hp V-8 engine which is paired to a five-speed manual transmission. The interior of the vehicle is completed in black featuring leather bucket seats, Smiths instrumentation, wood steering wheel, windwings, sunvisors and an aftermarket radio.
