This 1996 Dodge Indy Ram 1500 LT (factory Indianapolis 500 pace truck) is said to be driven sparingly. It has far from stock and looks and sounds amazing. Under the hood is a factory 360 Magnum V-8 with 2.02 R/T heads, M1 intake, 52-mm Fastman TB, complete roller valve train with a KRC 210xx cam, shorty headers and an electric fan. The transmission was rebuilt to diesel specs with a factory high-stall torque lockup converter, 4.10 limited-slip rear diff, the front suspension has been lowered with DJM tubular upper and lower control arms and proper shocks for a 4-inch lower ride height. The rear has a flip kit with drop shocks and support airbags for hauling or towing and a DJM transmission cooler. The body shows many improvements including 20- x10-inch Boyd Coddington billet alloy wheels with brand new BFGoodrich G-Force tires (over $4,000 in wheels and tires), steel cowl induction hood, shaved tailgate, Sir Mikes steel pan, Gaylord fiberglass tonneau cover, custom front bumper with 6-inch PIAA lights, new electric mirrors, hidden hitch, hidden headlamps, bed rug carpeted box and tonneau cover with Line-X underneath for durability, Clarion CD player with Kenwood amp and two 10-inch JL audio subwoofers behind seats, power windows and locks and sliding rear window. It is reported as a just a beautiful looking and sounding truck.
