In the 1955 model year Chrysler discontinued their six-cylinder engine in all of their vehicle models. The Chrysler line was also completely restyled with designs by Virgil Exner. The Windsors were more rounded and had wrap around windshields; its a big car that is elegant, broad and solid, yet strikingly graceful with particularly placed clean styling bodylines.
This Chrysler Windsor is beautifully presented in the well-dressed colors of white and turquoise. It is driven by a 301-cid, 188-hp V-8 engine that is coupled to a PowerFlite automatic transmission that is operated by a dash-mounted shift lever to the right of the steering controls. Superb in all manners, the Windsor also has a power four-way seat and brakes, plus Dayton wire wheels and wide whitewall tires.
