The classic Talbot-Lago Teardrop Coupe with Coachwork by Figoni et Falaschi is among the most beautiful and most valuable automobiles ever created. These rare cars inspired the Talbo recreations by TLC Carrossiers. Not a kit car or replica, it is a world class automobile that offers incredible comfort, phenomenal performance and of course that beautiful shape. The chassis frame is custom built from laser cut and rust-proofed components, suspension is all independent, and the brakes are four-wheel discs. Powered by a Ford V-8 fitted with stainless steel exhaust and Borla mufflers. The interior is exquisitely appointed and equipped with also features the amenities and technology of a contemporary automobile. This "1995 Talbo" is a Series I fitted with a 5.0-liter Ford V-8 and automatic transmission. It has wire wheels, Michelin blackwall tires and meticulously crafted tan leather interior. The interior features an engine-turned aluminum dash, Moto Lita wood-rimmed steering wheel, wood door trims and white gauges. Subtly placed, but welcome modern luxuries include a tilt steering column, power windows, power steering, power seats, cruise control, AM/FM radio and CD player and remote keyless alarm system. Talbos were constructed carefully and with a high degree of craftsmanship, meaning that only a handful were ever constructed. Those lucky enough to acquire one tend to hold on to it, so they rarely come to market.
