The original owner of this car died shortly after he purchased the car and his wife felt that the car was not a right fit for her, so it remained in a Palm Springs, California garage for over 30 years until her passing. The next owners purchased the car and replaced all of the rubber, hoses and belts. After these repairs it was sold to the now third owners. The car shows what is believed to be 11,000 original miles though it should be noted that the title shows exempt.
The car is finished in what is said to be the accurate colors, Sand over Sable, with a luscious tan leather interior. The engine is a 6.2-liter V-8 that is married to a fully automatic transmission. It is fitted with the standard equipment: power steering, brakes, windows and locks.
The walnut and inlaid rosewood have been restored by a former Rolls Royce employee. The leather interior has been restored to correct specifications with new wool carpets and a new headliner. The repaint and interior refinish were completed in 2006.
