According to the Krause, Standard Catalog of U.S. Military Vehicles, Second Edition; only 2,877 M16 halftracks were produced during 1943-44. This example has been restored in a complete “nut-and-bolt” manner that is also period correct. The White has a detailed replica 50-caliber machine gun that audibly fires with propane gas feed.

The armored halftrack is powered by a White 386-cid NOS flathead six-cylinder gasoline engine that produces 325 pound-feet torque with a top speed of 45-mph. This fearsome military platform is reported to be complete in every detail, right down to the 1942 Michigan license plate with the 1943 metal addendum tag. There is a complete picture history of the restoration.

With rubber tracks and operational front winch; the White is parade ready, including period camouflage netting and canvas top.
