Voted one of the top ten Chevelles ever built by Hot Rod magazine and featured on the subscription card for this publication, this 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle pro street is the recipient of two-hundred national first place finishes and six Grand Champion Super Bowl-style rings. It has been the subject of a feature on ESPN with "Big Daddy" Don Garlits and three street machine videos and was selected the national “spokescar” for Weld Racing Wheels. This was originally a V-8 powered Chevelle that was built at the Kansas City, Missouri General Motors plant.
