In 1963, a Chrysler 300 Convertible was used as a pace car for the famed Indianapolis 500 race. To commemorate this occasion, Chrysler built a limited number of 300 models known as Pace Setter editions and produced approximately 300 hardtops and 1,900 convertibles in this series. The Pace Setter editions featured special interiors, a square steering wheel and a checkered flag placed under the 300 emblem. This example is believed to be one of the nearly 1,900 convertibles produced. It features an automatic transmission, bucket seats and wire wheels. It is a well presented older restoration of a solid and original vehicle.
