Bring back the V-10s!—The familiar rallying cry from F1 fans, the paddock, and even its drivers for many years. There’s a distinct growling-like scream that comes from this particular V-10, the 3-litre Peugeot engine and period-correct powerhouse for this Prost F1 car, the 1999 Prost AP02, chassis number 03. Driven by then team driver Olivier Panis, chassis number 03 competed in the first four races of the 1999 Formula 1 season at Australia, Brazil, San Marino, and Monaco, with a best finish of sixth at the Brazilian Grand Prix at Interlagos. It will cross the block in Monaco in its period-correct French blue livery and fully restored, and ready to release that V-10 historic power on track.
