Addendum
Please note that the odometer on this car malfunctioned after the completion of its reimagining by Singer Vehicle Design. While the odometer shows 14 miles at the time of cataloging, the true milage is believed to be 2,000 miles since the completion of Singer Vehicle Design’s work in September 2022. The odometer will be repaired by Singer Vehicle Designs prior to delivery to its new owner.

Commissioned personally by Formula 1 World Drivers’ Champion Jenson Button and offered today from his collection, the Bel Air Commission reflects the singular vision of one of the 21st century’s greatest racing drivers. Beautiful to behold in terms of cosmetic specification, the Bel Air Commission was conceived to give its notable owner the best possible Porsche 911 driving experience on the road.

At the heart of the Bel Air Commission is Singer Vehicle Design’s 4.0-liter ‘Motorsports’ engine, mated to a six-speed manual gearbox. Furthermore, it is fitted with the Ohlins sport adjustable suspension alongside carbon ceramic brakes. The car beautifully encapsulates modern performance within its sleek bodywork, boasting seam-welding and a carbon fiber roof in addition to the full carbon fiber bodywork. Finally, it also boasts the singer hallmarks of both the external oil filler and frunk-mounted external fuel filler.

For its paintwork, Jenson chose a paint to sample shade of Porsche Cassis Red Metallic, a very charismatic hue that varies from purple to pinkish-bronze depending on the light, which was offered on 911s but also the 928 and 968 in the late 1980s and early 1990s. This is protected by full car paint protection film. The paintwork is further offset by full touring trim including nickel bumperettes but without rubber and the side reflectors have been removed. The decklid lettering, Singer script, and RS wheel centers are also finished in nickel, with the brake calipers finished in black with silver lettering to match the nickel trim throughout the exterior trim.

Built for the ultimate driver in the truest sense, the first thing that stands out about the interior of the Bel Air Commission is its seating arrangement; a carbon bucket seat for the driver alongside Singer Vehicle Design’s four-way adjustable ‘Touring’ seat for the passenger. The interior is trimmed in bone leather with a bespoke ‘Bel Air’ weave which carries through from the seats to the dashboard and door panels. A splash of Cassis Red Metallic on the transmission tunnel and door sills offsets the light interior color. Nickel trim can also be seen throughout the interior on the seat grommets, Singer dashboard emblem, and a bespoke finish gearshift knob with a slightly raised height. The car is fitted with the optional early 911-style gauge set. Adding a touch of modernity, the Bel Air Commission is fitted with the Porsche Classic Navigation system equipped with Apple CarPlay.

Regularly enjoyed but well kept since completion of the Bel Air Commission’s reimagining by Singer Vehicle Design in September of 2022, the car still presents in excellent condition throughout. The opportunity to acquire any vehicle from the collection of a Formula 1 World Championship-winning driver is truly exceptional, but the opportunity to acquire the Bel Air Commission is even more significant, with the vehicle having been specified by Jenson Button personally for his own use at his home in California.

For the keen driver, there can be no better 911 available for purchase today.
