Duccio Lopresto joined RM Sotheby’s in 2021 as Director of Business Development, Europe after several years in the collector car market. He holds a BSc Economics degree from City University of London and a MSc in Economics and Finance from the Barcelona School of Economics. After an internship at Hagerty US, Duccio started his career at Lamborghini S.p.a. in the Business Strategy & Product Marketing team, responsible for the commercial development of the Italian car brand. He then joined TCCT (The Classic Car Trust) in 2017 as Junior Relationship Manager. He was then promoted as Executive Board Member and had a key role in the strategic expansion of the business globally. Son of Italian collector Corrado Lopresto, Duccio has grown up in and around some of the world's finest automobiles, especially Italian examples and thanks to his passion and experience in the field, became in 2018 a Concours Judge. He started as Shadow Judge at Pebble Beach and then became official judge at the Audrain Concours d’Elegance, Salon Prive, and other international events. He is a writer for classic car publications, such as Ruoteclassiche, Retromotive, The Key, and Lecturer at the Domus Summer Master program in Milan. Just recently he was awarded ‘Young Talent of the Year’ at the Ruoteclassiche (Domus) Best in Classic awards 2021.
