Although it may not have been fully appreciated at the time, the 997 generation GT3 RS offered one of the final opportunities to purchase a hardcore, analog “RS” model off of the showroom floor. With subsequent generations exclusively offering the Porsche Doppelkupplungsgetriebe (PDK) transmission coupled with a multitude of driving aids, the 997 is often looked to as a flawless blend of modern technology and raw driving experience.

This example was purchased new by the White Collection through South Shore Porsche of Freeport, New York in 2008 as documented by the original bill of sale on file. Boasting a well-chosen specification, the 911 sported Carrara White paint and a Black leather interior coupled with ceramic composite brakes (PCCB), bi-xenon headlamps, and Chrono Package Plus. Exclusive options such as lower trim, spoiler lip, and center console painted in accent color as well as deviating side stripes complete the package.

Directly after purchasing the GT3 RS, the car was shipped to the White Collection’s facility, where it has remained under scrupulous care ever since. Upon arrival, clear film paint protection was applied to the entire front of the car, along with the rocker panels and wheel wells. The majority of its current mileage was accrued in the first four years of ownership, and maintenance records show oil changes as well as an oil seal and battery replacement during this time period. With minimal use since 2012, the GT3 RS has continued to live a pampered life and shows in as-new condition; it has been started and run to operating temperature monthly.

Surely one of the lowest-mileage 997 generation GT3 RS examples to come to market, this exceptionally well-preserved 911 would make for a phenomenal addition to any Porsche purist’s lineup.
