Completed in May 1987, the Porsche 928 S4 offered from the White Collection is a desirable, well-equipped example boasting low mileage. According to the original window sticker on file, this car left the factory finished with a Grand Prix White exterior over Crimson special leather interior and fitted with the sought-after five-speed manual transmission. Additional options include a limited-slip differential, sport shock absorbers, heated seats with lumbar, steering wheel with raised hub, and an alarm system.

Delivered new to an individual in suburban Dayton, Ohio, the accompanying original warranty and maintenance book contains stamps from the local Porsche/Audi dealer during first year of ownership noting a delivery inspection, an oil change, and 1,000-mile service. Thanks to long-term original ownership, both the bill of sale and invoices for the original purchase and service are present within the files accompanying the car. Invoices bearing the name of this gentleman continue to 2009 and exhibit diligent routine maintenance.

The 928 S4 would eventually come into the hands of its second owner in 2015, remaining in the Dayton area. In 2019, the clutch linkage was repaired, new spark plugs were installed, the brakes were flushed, and new gear oil was added to the transaxle. A relatively recent addition to the White Collection, joining in 2021, it shows just 12,285 miles on the odometer at the time of cataloguing. While in the collection, it has been started and run to operating temperature monthly. The Porsche is now accompanied by its original owner’s manual and window sticker, invoices spanning 1987–2021, tools and an air compressor, spare belts, and a door sill kick plate.

Well-regarded as one of the most reliable and usable of the 928 models, this example is equally suitable for the enthusiast looking for their first Porsche, or an experienced aficionado of the marque’s front-engine cars. With so few miles, desirable equipment, and an attractive and well-preserved factory-original color scheme, it is ideal for driving enjoyment, and a perfect addition to a collection of Stuttgart’s finest.
